Ok, How Do You Feel About Rap Right Now...

rap is decent..not something that i like to hear these days..im more into the hip hop scene..most rappers are one dimensional..they only rap about one thing..the streets..i dont care what anyone says..i dont care if your from the hood or the burbs..if your an artist..try to expand your ideas and make something creative..not something that everybodies been doing for the past fuckin eon..its getting to be like autotune.

yea anythings possible..i meen look at most of the blogs out here already..people are getting their tracks posted up and getting recognized quickly..downloads are sending more a message than just someone leaking your track..its showing how much people ARE WILLING to listen to your track and have it for themselves..i think if we all branch out and promote ourselves we should be seeing each other somewhere in the near future

my situation with music brokerz is actually pretty sketchy to tell you the truth, they talk a good game about getting your music out there..i was supposed to have my contract distributed on monday, but instead out of the blue my cousin got his contract from them and told me he was going to go over it with his lawyer and the rest of his group to see if their even official. Now with me they(Avery employee @ Music Brokerz) went from talking to me 3 straight weeks asking when im ready and i clearly told them im ready to go...NOW so we can jump this off. Unfortunately last week they hit me up asking me who i was and i laughed on the phone and told them who i was,Avery one of the employees..and he was asking me the same questions that he asked me before as well as his boss asking me who i was a couple days ago. I looked into them from the beginning and typed their name in on a site that my mother told me to surf..the site was a search engine where you type in a business name and it comes up with all types of info..and to my surprise their name didnt come up with anything..not even anything having to do with music lol. so to tell you the truth i can still work with them but by the actions that have been displayed as of now im still doing promotion by myself..which is the best way to do things..im also on a couple of blog sites big name ones too

yes exactly my point but i must say..they did send a couple songs to xm radio but i dont know if thats true or not im going by what they told me

If a Dj gets at you about hosting a tape..and THEN tells you his prices..most likely he's not really interested in your project..thats what Music Brokerz told me..BUT they themselves did the same thing with me..which was kind of being hypocritical lol i thought that was funny

yes many plans,napster,limewire,itunes,amazon mp3,rhapsody, also im going to holla at DJ Ophax..im still talking with DJ Young Cee but i've heard from many that shadyville doesnt move as many units as they should..so i might just try Ophax or my main man DJ Chito!

but mixtapes will be cut short because of the album in the works with me and my producer

Yeah, that story right there is the most surprising that i've ever heard..i actually heard his under the sun beat before budden even came close to finishing mood muzik 3..which was funny because i was going to get at evo for the beat before buddens did..but basically buddens asked to use the beat gave evo his Manager/A.R's contact (Killah B.H) and said he was going to give Evo credit for making the beat and what not..thats cool..but the nigga didnt even pass evo royalties..when he said he was going to give evo credit for that beat i expected more than just a name "Evo(Beats Ink)" on Amalgam Digitals Main site under halfway house..i meen buddens has done the same to VTZ(Better than me..remember that? smh) as well..you just cant be snatchin peoples beats and making a hit off of them..Under The Sun was a hit on the underground seen and the beat itself has touched many hearts..my nigga Evo made that shit because he was thinking of how much he loved his daughter..so its more than just a beat that someone would consider..samples and what not..its from the core nah meen.

first off if i even took it to that level i wouldnt put up money on this situation i would just see the bul and clock him on site cause thats what im known to do already when it comes to my problems that i feel i should handle, but on the other hand im not trying to come up off of this buddens situation,,thats just a weak point to me..i dont wanna look back at my career and have people say "oh thats joel..who?..mannn u remember that dude who got into beef wit budden over etc...OHHHHH yah i know him" Nah..thats stupid so to be honest i wouldnt go to that point..but if Evo was down for that then whatever happens happens.

nah i meen go over on the site my dude its there..all there is are the produced who produced for the project..and its just his name..no shout outs..all over google to beat is being given out for free..his name isnt titled over it anywhere at all i already checked. niggaz trippin

Well the album is called "At War With Earth" and the topic is very deep..it explains how im feeling right about now and what my chances are looking like living life..Evo is doing the main producing,im in line with producing some of the hits but im also looking for anno to send me something and possibly Rhapsodist i already have the one joint he lent me for my album and that is a true hip hop hit!..i dont wanna spoil it tho you'll have to listen haha
